[Cystic lymphangioma of the supraclavicular and right axillary fossae].

Five years ago, in a 34-year-old female patient a tumour developed in the right supraclavicular fossa which gradually increased in size. A few months ago she had noticed also a tumour in the axillary fossa on the same side. On physical examination, USG, and contrast X-ray it was found that it was a cyst of hour-glass shape (narrowing of retro-clavicular). The cyst was removed totally. Histological examination: cystic lymphangioma (hygroma). The aetiology, diagnosis, and treatment of this type of tumours are discussed.

[Interleukin-2 in the treatment of malignant melanoma. A case report].

Interleukin-2 is a lymphokine with documented antineoplastic influence, with not completely understood mechanism of action. The case of 46-years old patient with relapsed metastatic malignant melanoma treated with constant-infusion of rIL-2 is described. 9-month remission was achieved. During the course of treatment a lot of side effects including flu-like symptoms, hypotonia, anemia and thrombocytopenia, and also many biochemical disturbances were observed.
