Colonoscopy: a new diagnostic and therapeutic technique.
Since January 1974, 150 colonoscopies have been performed. The method is reviewed and indications for diagnosis or therapy are outlined and examples illustrating these indications are given. It has proved to be an excellent diagnostic and therapeutic technique.
