[Current approaches to nursing preterm infants].
The article focuses on one of the most important aspects of nursing premature infants--that of feeding such babies at the breast. Noted in the article are sore points of parenteral feeding which is usually chosen in preference to any other kind of alimentation. Giving birth to a child long before usual time is not considered to be a contraindication to carrying on an enteral feeding which has been shown to improve the functional condition of the alimentary canal of the child.
