[The Hippocratic oath].

Answering to some requests, we reproduced this article which was published some years ago in the Revista del Circulo Argentino de Odontologia. We think this text has been, is and will always relate to present time referred to its ethical aims for the practice of professions related to health caring. This text is a translation from the original in Greek with some lexicographical notes.

[A mistake, not a Darwin's one, about teeth formation in Aristotle's physics].

An isolated paragraph translated from Greek, separated from its previous and following ones, made Darwin believe that Aristotle made a mistake about comprehending teeth formation in life beings, but he pointed out accurately, at the same time, that the philosopher's idea about the aim that rules material changes was, as a precedent to the "natural selection", a dark concept.

[Pasteur (Dôle, 1822 - Villenueve l'Etang, 1895)].

The figure of Pasteur is here recalled on occasion of the centenary of his death, for his researches and discoveries, dedicating his life to the scientific work of observation and experimentation, far from preconceived theories, the repercussions of his successes, which transformed biology and medical sciences, and his sticking to an unconditional moral strength.
