Evaluation of films for use in portal imaging in radiation therapy--a study at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
A new type of film--Ektamat G--was tested at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre Radiation Therapy Department and compared to Ortho G film. The study evaluated each film's contrast, density and radiation dose to the patient. Findings indicate that Ektamat G is a practical alternative to Ortho G for use as a port film in radiation therapy.
