The set of microanalytic units is developed for biochemical assays of biological liquids of low volumes. The set consists of self-contained modules providing automatic operation of main biochemical assay steps: reagent dosage, thermostatic control, mixing, photometric measurements, calibration, data processing and recording. The set improves productivity, makes biochemical assays more accurate and valid, decreases reagent consumption, and should be used within the screening system.
An information processing system (IPS) is described for checking the parity of the sample address code, setting the scale factor of the measured value from 0.1 to 1.0 analog-digital conversion of this value with automatic selection of measuring subranges. The IPS performs printing of the sample address and the measurement results in red or black colour depending on the autoanalyzer operation mode and on the input signals. In addition, it sends control signals into the autoanalyzer to check its functioning. This IPS is intended for operation with DA240-4 discrete autoanalyzer.
On the ground results derived from an analysis of metrological characteristics of the biochemical automatic unit systems and of their influence on the end-result with due regard for actual operating conditions a formula for the automatic unit error was deduced. The specificity of technical requirements to be met by automatic meters is shown and a new complex set of metrological characteristics of the concentration meter are given. At the same time permissible values for metrological characteristics of the meter satisfying medical requirements are defined. The new complex set of metrological characteristics for the biochemical automatic unit concentration meter allows it to make a change from the absolute photometric scale of the device to the one in relative units.
