[Teaching-welfare integration: a case study].

The teaching-welfare integration process (TWI) between the "Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul" and the "Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre" is this work's object of study focusing the actors in it and its concrete historical practice. The intention is that of knowing the dynamics of the process relationships, understanding it is a collective work as the result of historical and social changing. The inter-institutional dichotomy becomes evident as a rule, unleashing an integration issue. The existing TWI is not a concordant one but its integrating power connections must be used as a motive for its action and transformation, defining the making and re/making of new alternatives.

[Graduation from nursing: learning about the Brazilian psychiatric reform].

This paper aims at identifying the changes that became part of the teaching of psychiatric nursing. The study points out the concern regarding teaching updating in this area in which the teacher's transformation, participation and the creation of a new concept about psychiatric knowledge and practice make it possible to have new ways to learn how to learn the brazilian psychiatric reform.

[Realization, affiliation and power: which one of these three factors is responsible for nurses' motivation in an university hospital?].

The nursing develops it's activities through the staff work, therefore, the quality of its work depends on the performance of the work group. For this reason, the nursing knowledge about human motivation and the different motivational factors which interfere in people actions are very important. For some persons is important to do things (realization necessity), for others, is important to influence people (power necessity), and for others to valorize the fellowship with the work group (affiliation necessity) is the most important. The present study is based on "three motives" of the McClelland (1965) approach. The authors also used the Souza (1972) model with the aim to identify which factors are responsible for nurses motivation in adults clinical wards in an university hospital. The results shows that Realization (80%) is the predominant motivational factor, the Affiliation and Power are in the second place with the same rate (7%).
