[Gluing of sterile abdominal benign cyst walls with tissue adhesives (Tissucol) (preliminary report)].

The authors, endeavouring to stick the walls of percutaneously emptied cysts together had applied the two-component Tissucol fibrin glue in the treatment of abdominal and thoracic cysts. Their ten cases, however, may be considered only as preliminary experiences. It seems that the method can be recommended for an attempt to cease these formations in a fast and simple way. Nevertheless, this method must not be the subject of treatment in infected and malignant fluid collections, but seems successful in pancreatic pseudocysts, in spite of their higher proteolytic activity.

[Primary choriocarcinoma of the lung simulating tuberculosis].

The authors report the case of a young female patient in whose lung they found a hollow, infiltrating lesion characteristic of tuberculosis which was removed by operation. Histologically, the lesion proved to be choriocarcinoma. Elsewhere tumour could not be detected.

Data on the effect of Probon on respiration.

On the basis of the results of earlier published and recent examinations it could be concluded that among analgesics Probon is the first of choice especially in case of chronic pain accompanying chronic respiratory tract diseases. The value of the drug is also supported by the fact that the number of patients suffering from chronic obstructive respiratory failure increases continuously, since the equilibrium of these patients is very unstable; the smallest injury, such as an increase in secretion, a decrease in diaphragmatic movement, or chest expansion caused by pain, or even drug-induced respiration depression, may very easily upset this equilibrium.

[The effect of some non-narcotic analgetics on respiration (author's transl)].

Report on a Hungarian analgetic "Probon" belonging in its effects to the minor analgetics. It does not show any depressing action on the respiratory centre and has a bronchodilatory effect. It does not cause sideeffects nor dependence and does not lose in efficacy even in long lasting application and in old people.
