[Plastic repair using the demineralized matrix of flat allogeneic bone in an operation for ventral hernia].
Investigations were performed in experiments on 36 dogs. Clinico-morphological results of plasty of artificial defects of the anterior abdominal wall by demineralized matrix of a flat allogeneic bone have shown good taking by tissues. In clinic the demineralized matrix of flat allogeneic bone (scapula, skull fornix) was used in ventral hernias in 36 patients. No recurrent hernias were noted in these patients within 20 months after operation.

[The dynamics of the species composition, antilysozyme activity and antibiotic resistance of the causative agents of soft-tissue surgical infection].
The dynamics of the microflora in the foci of surgical infection in 54 patients was studied. Staphylococci and streptococci prevailed among the primarily isolated causative agents. In complicated forms of surgical infection of soft tissues the change of causative agents, mainly to gram-negative opportunistic microflora with a higher level of resistance to antibiotics and high antilysozyme activity, was observed more often than in noncomplicated forms of such infection.
