[Long-term antidepressant drug treatment in Champagne].

Bibliography in hands, the authors initialed the long term imipraminic antidepressive treatments in the french literature. Formerly, Prien explained them in English-in both cases for unipolar depressive expressions of periodic manic depressive illness-and Siegwald in French for neuroleptics by schizophrenias. The actual extension of concept of depression and drug's treatment, under medico-industrial banner, ends in a medical ethic's problem.

[District statistical study in 1992].

The statistical study of the population taken in increased charge by the extra-hospital care team, sector G of the Marne, shows that this population comprises essentially psychotic patients, their pathology having lead them to uprootedness, solitude and loss of financial autonomy. The stabilization of these patients constitutes an extra-hospital chronicization and the risk of abusive "externement" has always to be weighted.

[Restructuring of a community mental health center and regional sector policy: structuring or destructuring?].

Reorganizing the structure of wards in a mental hospital shows inadequacy of a sectorial plan. The answers are different and a particular significance if we compare those of the intentional plan with the realization. Instead of being on the spot and taking care out patients in conformity with their needs like a night hospital, the shortage of staff and a defective development is running a great risk of wrecking restructuration and making maladjustment.

[Manic-depressive psychoses. Chronic treatment with tricyclic antidepressive agents].

Long-course Tricyclic anti-depressing treatment affonds clinical healing--i.e. abolition of the recurrences--in melancolic unipolary periodic depressions. This treatment--T.A.T.C.--allows a good prevention of melancolic recurrences in bipolar periodic patterns of psychosis. For the authors Lithium and/or Dipropylacétamide are not sufficient protection for melancolic or maniac recurrences in this patterns. It seems to be three patterns in fact: pure melancolic, pure maniac, and maniaco-depressive. Therapeutic and psychopathologic considerations.
