[Mathematical model of transcapillary metabolism in patients with mitral valve insufficiency].

Application of a mathematical model of microhemocirculation enabled one to assess quantitatively the magnitude of transcapillary albumin metabolism and total hydraulic resistance of metabolic vessels, as well as the effect of geometric, biophysical and hemodynamic parameters on transport characteristics of the capillaries. Dramatic changes in transcapillary metabolism and in blood rheologic properties are classified with factors that determine the occurrence of postoperative complications in patients with mitral valve failure.

[Quantitative analysis of the process of stimulation frequency transformation in the neuromuscular apparatus].

Dependence of parameters of the neuromuscular transmission on the stimulation frequency was determined. This dependence was analyzed as applied to the processes of synapsis "fatigue" occurring in prolonged rhythmic muscle stimulation. The suggested mathematical model and the method of statistical analysis of the EMG of the sum total muscle responses following from it offered a possibility of determination by the experimental data of the approximate parameters giving a quanititative expression of the frequency properties of the neuromuscular transmission.

[Analysis of muscle electrical activity during indirect rhythmic stimulation].

A mathematical model of transformation of the electrical signals in the peripheral neuromuscular junction, and a method of analysing the experimental data obtained in experiments on the muscle and muscle fibers of rat diaphragm in indirect rhythmic stimulation is described. The parameters characterizing the muscle by frequency potentiation and depression properties were determined as a result of the EMG analysis.
