[Variations in the intensity of solar neutrinos as a problem for physical chemistry].

A comparison of variations in the solar neutrino flux in Brookhaven measurements with solar activity indices clearly shows that the neutrino flux is controlled by surface solar processes. These processes can lead to changes in the efficiency of registrations of the neutrino flux. From this view point, the results of the measurements of the neutrino flux on the Brookhaven detector in 1970-1994 (108 runs) were analyzed. It was found that the neutrino flux depends on the heliogeophysical situation. The well known anticorrelation between the neutrino flux and Wolf numbers is observed only for odd cycle of solar activity. A similar regularity occurs for critical frequencies of E-ionosphere. By contrast, the correlation between the neutrino flux and the Ap-index is observed only for the even activity cycle. The predominance of the sign of radial component of the interplanetary magnetic field in the last 7-14 days of exposure has the greatest effect on the neutrino flux (this sign changes as the sign of the total magnetic field of the Sun changes). In short runs, the neutrino flux changes more than threefold. The conclusion is made that variations of the solar neutrino flux are falcious. These fictitious variations are caused probably by the action of very low-frequency electromagnetic emissions of the magnetosphere upon the substance of the target and the technology of the extraction of 37Ar atoms from perchloretylene.

[Possible model of interaction between areas of the cat cerebral cortex].

The effect of neuronal activity of one area in the cerebral cortex on the activity of another area was studied on adult alert cats with algorhythm of estimation of dependence and backward connection. On this basis a structural-functional model was developed of interaction between the visual and somatosensory cortical areas in the periods of aftereffect of repeated photic stimulations. This algorhythm permits to determine quantitatively the weight and direction of the mutual influences of these areas as well as to calculate approximately the volumes of the cellular masses which may participate in the formation of connections between these areas. It is assumed that the model may be used as one of the numerous means of studying the complex pattern of brain structures interactions.

[Solar activity, dynamics of the ozone layer and possible role of ultraviolet radiation in heliobiology].

Solar activity influences the ozonosphere thickness, thus changing the intensity of the near-Earth ultraviolet radiation in the B band. In certain regions the radiation may change by 10--15%, with solar activity varying from its maximum to minimum. The variations in the ultraviolet intensity are very likely to be environmentally important. Thus, solar ultraviolet radiation at lambda = 290 -- 340 nm acts as one more physical agent transferring the effect of solar activity into the biosphere.

[Biophysics and history].

The results of Chijevsky's study of correlation between solar activity maxima and social disturbances are confirmed now using modern technology and large historical data. There are some other evidences of the reality this relation. The main conclusion is that the creation of new philosophy of history is necessary taking into account natural data's sciences.
