Implementing the developmental assessment component of the EPSDT program.
This paper discusses the role of developmental assessment within the EPSDT program, describes efforts to develop guides for implementing this component of the program, and summarizes the "developmental review" proposed by the American Association of Psychiatric Services for Children.
