After reporting the classification and the etiopathogenesis of the dental inclusions, the Authors discuss the advisabilities and the drawbacks for their removal, on the basis of a personal study.
In the present work the Authors describe a case of a patient affected by Duchenne disease as well as by dental multiple agenesis. It is a particular case of such rare syndromes in the same subject.
The results are reported of an epidemiologic research carried out on 205 patients which presented bad occlusions. We found that 9.27% of the patients presented inclusions of canine teeth, that female subjects were more affected by the inclusion than male subjects, and that inclusions were more frequent at the level of the upper jaw.
The authors of the present work have done a cephalometric study on 11 patients affected by acromegaly. The target of this research was to obtain with cephalometric analysis a means for the follow up of the disease together with an important provisional parameter of growth of the face bones, helping thus to obtain an early diagnosis and the general lines for a correct therapy. With the data obtained has been extrapolated a table with average data of cephalometric angles that, transferred on to a tracing could represent the cephalometric prototype of an acromegalic patient.

The outcome of a five-year radiographic follow-up study of 150 patients with maxillo-mandibular malformations who had undergone Le Fort I osteotomy of the maxilla is reported. A superimposition technique made possible an exact evaluation of the adjustments effected. The results confirm the validity of a study conducted in 1977 and the five-year stability of the maxilla. The importance of the relationship between the Frankfort plane, occlusal plane and the osteotomy line is emphasized. In operations in which Le Fort I osteotomy of the maxilla is combined with a sagittal osteotomy of the mandible the maxilla undergoes minute displacements in the weeks following surgery, which can easily be predicted and allowed for at the planning stage. The long-term stability of the maxilla is assured.

This work realized thanks to exchange by IFMSA happened at Medical School Praga's invitation, describes two researchs. The first presents the casuistry of scholastic czechoslovak population; the second 87 cases with multiple teeth agenesis observed at Pedodontic's Clinical of Praga's Hospital Motol. The Authors, after describing the review of literature about epidemiology, etiopathogenetic, symptomatology and diagnosis aspects, present a personal contribution in accordance with existing literature.
Classification and aetiopathogenesis of upper canine inclusion. The possible causes of upper canine inclusions are reviewed. After a detailed description of the factors that generally contribute to determining inclusions, it is stressed that correct aetiopathogenetic classification of this pathology can contribute to making the complex protocol for its treatment easier.
An attempt was made to classify the various positions assumed by included canines in order to identify the most appropriate treatment. The surgical phase is indubitably decisive for correct repositioning. The possible corrective techniques are described together with several useful ideas for use in the exposure phase in order to facilitate the procedure and minimal subsequent orthodontic work, while ensuring maximum stability of both tooth and periodontal tissue at the end of the repositioning.
In the present review the Authors describe the most common therapeutical protocols used in the treatment of the most complex cases of hyperreactivity and various therapeutical instrumental and pharmacological tools now available for the dentist to solve problems linked to hyperemotive patients undergoing odontoiatric therapy.
