[Oat cell carcinoma of the bladder].

Small cell carcinoma (CCP) of the urinary bladder is an uncommon tumor, having usually an aggressive behavior. We report a new case of CCP seen at our centre and we communicate the applied therapeutic method. Although total cystectomy followed by chemo and radiotherapy seems to be the most effective treatment, we have carried out radical RTU of the bladder accompanied by chemo and radiotherapy as conservative therapy obtaining complete remission after 2 year of diagnosis, without local and distant evidence of the disease.

[Leydig cell tumor. Two new cases].

The Leydig's cell tumours are the most common of all non germ cell tumour of the testis, that clinical findings is different by age of presented. We report two new cases of Leydig cell tumour diagnosed in our centre having different presentation form, in old adults with feminizing features and occult tumour, and as a testicular nodule pain, respectively. The analytical, clinical, diagnostic aspects and therapeutic of the uncommon disease are discussed.

[Squamous cell carcinoma of the prostate: a further case].

We report one rare case of squamous cells prostate tumor. This histological pattern accounts for the 0.5-1% of all prostatic malignancies with certain clinical and evolutive aspects that are from those of prostate adenocarcinoma. Review of the literature seems to have a very poor prognosis such that occurred in our patient who died after 2 month of diagnosis with a poor response to the habitual treatment, perhaps due to this different cell of origin.

[Penile metastasis of renal cell carcinoma].

The tumour dissemination to penis from renal cell carcinoma is a rare occurrence; generally, it is seen in advanced stages of the disease, such that occurred in our patient that indicated a poor prognosis. A lesion node, high, painless, the size middle, located in the side right to penis, at long term free of symptoms associated was found. The histological examination of the specimen after cold biopsy demonstrated a metastasis from renal carcinoma.

[Tumors of the upper urothelium. Review and treatment].

The authors review nine case (seven in men and two in women) of upper urothelial tumors found in 32,000 general clinical histories and 3,100 urologic histories. All patients belonged to rural environments, and meat was an essential part of their diets; 67 per 100 of the cases had a familial history of different types of cancer. The first sign of disease was a macroscopic hematuria in all the patients. Regarding tumor localization, four cases were renal, one of them pyelocalyceal at a time, and five ureteral with vesical involvement, one of them associated to a retroperitoneal malignant histiocytoma. All the patients were treated by surgery.

[Syphilitic penile pseudotumor. Report of a case].

The syphilis is a venereal disease of sexual transmission that incidence is increasing in several groups populations. We report a case of a patient with secondary syphilis who consulted for an atypical solid mass to penile. The clinical evolution, histological examination and analytical tests confirmed the diagnosis of genital syphilis having a satisfactory response to specific antibiotic treatment. The epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic aspects and therapeutic of the genital ulcer disease are discussed.

[Rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord: apropos of a case].

The rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord is a rare tumour of the genital apparatus, of which 80 cases have been published in world literature. In the present paper, we publish a case of pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord, pointing out the highly malignant nature of this lesion (a 10% survival rate after 5 years) as well as the delay in its diagnosis on some occasions due to confusion with hydroceles, hernias and cord cysts. As far as the treatment is concerned, all the authors agree on the extensive exeresis of the tumour, with a need for a para-aortic lymphadenectomy when there are greater divergences. In spite of these tumours being only slightly radio-sensitive, its usefulness when used locally to prevent relapses has been proved. The experience with chemiotherapy is very limited.
