The history of lingual orthodontics is discussed. Laboratory and clinical techniques are reviewed in detail. Two case reports with photographs are also included.

Superior oblique strengthening procedures in hypertropia I and II.
Strengthening the paretic superior oblique has an effective role in the management of cyclovertical hypertropia. Resection of the tendon is safe and the reduction of the deviation is long lasting.
