[Peritonsillar abscess after tonsillectomy].
The AA. report one instance of a Quinsy after some years elapsed since a tonsillectomy correctly done. No proper motive for the presentation of this phlegmonous condition could be suggested.

[Teratocarcinoma of the ethmoid. A clinical case report].
The teratocarcinoma are congenital tumors which tissues derivate of the three embryological layers. Rare in head and neck become exceptional in paranasal sinuses. The paper deals with a teratocarcinoma sitting in the ethmoidal labyrinth. It is the first documented instance from Venezuela. The world literature on this subject is sparse.

[Use of local infiltration for tonsillectomy in adults under general anesthesia].
The paper deals with 60 adults (aged between 13-30) tonsillectomies done under general anesthesia. The collective was alternatively divided in 2 groups, only one of them receiving local infiltration. In the infiltrated group the tonsil dissection was easier, the bleeding sparse and the follow-up less unpleasant.

[The styloid syndrome. Apropos 3 cases].
The paper deals with the cases of 3 women, aged between 28 and 35 years, the three having had tonsillectomy and complaining of troubles compatible with the styloid syndrome. X-ray and tomographs corroborate the diagnosis. Under general anesthesia the abnormally developed processes were high resected and the complaints gone.
