Treatment of scalds in children with human allografts offers the following advantages: 1. Essential relief of pain. 2. Prevention of deepening of scalds by desiccation. 3. Fewer autografting procedures. 4. Shorter hospital stay. 5. Considerably less hypertrophic scarring.
