[Differential diagnosis of primary microtropia and annisometropic amblyopia using the biprisms test].
The bi-prismatic test studies the reflex of prismatic version, induced by a bi-prism (the instrument consists of two opposed prism of 6 DP). By means of this instrument, it is possible facing the study of the motorial replies in different forms of strabismus, amblyopia, and ocular palsies. After the test explanation, we present the results obtained in a case-report numbering 405 patients: 165 normal, 94 microtropias, 67 esotropias (ET), 50 anisometropic amblyopias, 29 es-anisometropic amblyopias.
