[Atrial dissociation].
A case of atrial dissociation with left-side atrial flutter is described in a patient with a transmural anterior myocardial infarction. A favourable outcome of this arrhythmia was achieved. Inviting the literature data the paper discusses the problems of impulse transmission from the right atrium to the left, the mechanism and causes of atrial dissociation, the electrocardiographic and differential diagnosis of this arrythmia, the prognosis in atrial dissociation.
