The microscopic investigation of 3 500 faecal samples with a method of concentration combining the ether treatment and flottation, has allowed to spot 5 cases (out of 700) of isosporosis (Isospora belli) among subjects coming all from the tropical area and showing an occasionally serious symptomatology which has been treated by tinidazole. Besides 2% samples were infested by Sarcocystis hominis. The subjects affected were also from tropical origin, but did not present clinical disorders directly to be attributed to this parasite. These observations permit to review the last bibliography and to make a parasitological and clinical review in the field of coccidiosis.

[Epidemiologic, clinical and therapeutic analysis of 427 cases of anguilluliasis seen in Paris].

The authors report 427 cases of strongyloidasis detected in Paris, and emphasize the following points: --High incidence amongst black africans coming from West Africa (17%) ana black carribeans living in France (28.5%). --Lack of hypereosinophilia in two third of cases. --High incidence of successful treatment with thiabendazol with a daily dose 25 mg/kg during four days. --Better results with two running cures.

[Brucella sacroiliitis in a West African].

A brucelian sacro-iliitis is reported in a 33-year-old West African man recently arrived from Mali. Thus, clinical, biological, radiological, and isotopic aspects could be precisely observed, and were found very similar to brucelian sacroiliitis in Europeans. Major information is required about the interest of technetium scintigraphy. The treatment included Rifampicin, in association with Doxycyclin and the theoretical bases of this choice are explained. Tolerance was good and a complete recovery was obtained after three months.
