[Anorectal malignant melanomas: report on 7 personal cases and 374 cases from the literature. Report of the experiences of a tumor center].
Seven cases of anorectal malignant melanoma are described and presented together with 374 cases reported on in the literature. The therapeutic procedure in stage I and II disease relies on radical surgery (abdominosacral rectum amputation), combined in cases of local metastasation with adjuvant chemoimmunotherapy using DTIC and BCG. In stage III disease therapeutic measures can achieve palliation only.
