[Iatrogenic glaucoma].

Many preparations used in the therapy of different general affections have as side effects the appearance of ocular hypertonia and several incidents and accidents connected by the surgery. The authors considered important to discuss on this medical aspect of great interest, with emphasis on the interdisciplinary co-operation and on the accuracy of the medico-surgical ophthalmologic gesture.

[The incidence of influenzal, para-influenzal and adenoviral antigens in keratoconjunctivitis patients during immunization with NIVGRIP vaccine].

Repeated intranasal administrations of NIVGRIP, influenza inactivated vaccine, to patients with chronic recurrent keratoconjunctivitis, led to a significant reduction of respiratory virus incidence, as revealed by the immunofluorescence test in the conjunctive epithelial cells. The effect is probably due to endogenous interferon stimulation by the vaccine, at the nasopharyngeal level.

[The use of grafts and prostheses in surgery on the lacrimal ducts].

A description is given of the different types of grafts: venous, arterial, skin and conjunctiva, as well as prostheses of plastic material, polyvinyl, silicon, used in the reparatory and reconstructive surgery of the lacrimal ducts. The author gives the indications, advantages and drawbacks of these grafts and prostheses and emphasizes the importance of prosthesis with polyvinyl probes in the reconstructive surgery of the lacrimal ducts over other methods.

[Diverticulum of the lacrimal sac].

Diverticulum of the lacrimal sac is a rare affection. The differential diagnosis must be established with angioma, dermoid cyst, exceptionally with a meningocele, all manifested clinical as a tumefaction of the internal palpebral angle. An individualized therapeutical approach is recommended.
