[Architectural acoustics].
This paper discusses the development of architectural acoustics from Sabine's paper (1900) to the beginning of computer simulation. In the 20th century, physicists have dominated this field, but the problems to be solved require an interdisciplinary approach involving physicists, musicians, and architects.
