[Clinical problems of microleakage of restorative materials in primary teeth].

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the clinical problems associated with microleakage of different restorative materials. We have compared the microleakage when we restore Class II cavities in primary molars with amalgams and with posterior composite resins. The results of this study suggest that posterior composite resins present more frequently pulp inflammation, necrosis, marginal discoloration and secondary marginal caries. This factors mus to be considered when we choose a material for temporary restoration.

[Irreversible pulp pathology in young permanent teeth. A treatment approach].

Is made a remember for the two biological elements which audit on the root physiological formation: the dental pulp and the Hertwig's epithelial root sheath. Is discussed like on the practice clinic, we can find undamaged both elements, or we have only with the Hertwig's epithelial root sheath. We indicate a treatment when we have a vioble dental pulp, like different treatment if only we have the Hertwig's epithelial sheath. Is remembered rules which help to keep the health of the periodontal tissues, preventing to the same initiation and preventing too the immunologic reactions.

[Prevalence of dental agenesis in an Andalucian population].

We have study oligodontia in a sample of Andalucias children. The population was between five and twelve years old. The authors wished to determine the prevalence of Oligodontia excluding third molars (the prevalence was higher than other spanish studies about the same subject). The mandibular second premolar was the most frequently absent tooth.
