[Prosthetic treatment of patients with the use of one-stage intraosseous implants according to the Biomal-implant system].

There was developed and patented new one-stage intraosseous titanium monolithic implant. Detailed lab-clinical analysis of long-term results of 185 patients with the use of intraosseous implants according to the Biomal-implant system was presented. Based on their own clinical experience the authors gave recommendations of shortcut method of prosthetic treatment of patients with different types of adentia.

[Dental prosthesis using immediate implants].

The authors emphasize the role of implantation in recovery of the maxillodental morphology and function and in the prevention of denture involvement in cases with removal of a tooth. Specific features of prostheses after direct implantation (implantation into removed tooth or root well) are described. Advantages of immediate implantation over delayed are enumerated.

[The effect of a biogenic paste containing hydroxyapatite on the dynamics of the bone integration of immediate implants].

The effect of a biogenic paste containing hydroxylapatite and collagen on the course of bone integration of implants inserted in the hole immediately after tooth or root extraction was studied in dog experiments. Histologic examination has revealed accelerated osteogenesis round the implant in experimental animals vs. the reference ones. This fact permits a conclusion that application of the biogenic paste will be conducive to a more rapid and effective taking in of the implant and, therefore, to a sooner prosthesis.
