[On co-operation of the child-specialist of neuropsychiatry in prevention and control of dissocial and criminal behaviour (author's transl)].

There is an increasing win of recognition of polycausality in the development of social deviates. Therefore the today's organization of control of criminality is representing a complicated course of socioeconomical, ideological, legal, educational and other measures. Author points to diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of the children's neuropsychiatry. They could serve for early recognition of an incipient social deviate development. This would make possible a therapy of partial causes in the right moment.

[Neurologic, electro- and echoencephalography studies of former high-risk children and control children].

First results of neurological, electro-encephalographic and echo-encephalographic examinations obtained from three different groups consisting of former high-risk babies (about two thirds) and control children (about one third) are presented. As was to be expected, the control group showed remarkably fewer findings which differed from the physiological variation width. The comparatively high proportion of individual results without pathological findings obtained from high-risk children indicates that reliable diagnostic conclusions can be drawn only if the results of various examination techniques are summarized. The analysis of a neurological longitudinal study of former high-risk infants reveals a trend toward recession of the neurological peculiarities over the observation period which lasted until the sixth year of age. This particularly applies to light phenomena of a neurological character which do not have syndrome character and are pathologically irrelevant. As a result of different interpretations of what "high risks" are, considerable problems can arise when the results of examinations performed on groups of high-risk children by various workers are to be compared.

[On the phenomenology of juvenile sexual delinquency and on the phenomenology of juvenile sexual delinquents - child-neuropsychiatric aspects of prevention of deviating sexual behaviour. Juvenile sexual delinquency:introduction to the problems, phenomenology (author's transl)].

The prophylaxis and clearing-up rate of deviating sexual behaviour of adolescents could be favourably influenced, if doctors, teachers and judicial administrators had a better knowledge of the phenomenology of sexual delicts as well as sexual delinquents. 87 expert opinions on juvenile sexual delinquents were analysed under this aspect. In the majority of cases sexual delicts of adolescents reveal a far more extensive disturbance in their individual and social development.

[On the phenomenology of juvenile sexual delinquency and on the phenomenology of juvenile sexual deliquents--child-neuropsychiatric aspects of prevention of deviating sexual behavior. Phenomenology of adolescent sexual delinquency from a social and medical point of view. Prevention of deviant sexual behaviour (author's transl)].

Among manifold causes and conditions there are two essential roots: unfavourable social background and cerebroorganic disturbances. Crime prevention must increasingly concentrate on infancy and youth. Emphasis is laid upon crime preventive possibilities of sex education and the importance of child neuropsychiatry within the framework of complex public measures to combat criminality.
