CATIONIC GLASS ELECTRODE RESPONSE IN AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS OF SODIUM CHLORIDE AND POTASSIUM CHLORIDE.
The selectivity of glass electrodes suitable for potassium-ion measurements depends on the age of electrodes and the composition of the solution. An empirical equation describing the electrode potential as a function of solution composition is given for practical application in solutions containing both sodium and potassium.
