[Reflections on the ether].
In the first place, a history of physical aether is propounded, a history of that initially considered hypothetical substance which should fill empty space, and whose properties would vary depending on the scientific phenomenon and the temporal scientific context under consideration. Secondly, in the light of this history and from the present time, several reflections are made about the general problematics of Physics and Philosophy and some of their correlated traditional problems: The problem of space, the problem of empty space, the problem of matter, and, particularly, the problem of aether.
