[Hygienic principles of work organization for coal miners with different health status].

Based on the original analysis of the data pertaining to labour routes and the peculiarities of job-placement in mines, the article summaries the hygienic principles for job-placement of coal-miners and provides classification criteria for labour routes in mines. An expert analysis is provided of 146 professions and occupations in coal-mining for workers with different health states and labour ability conditions.

[The role of ecological factors and working conditions in the development of occupational pathology in the Donetsk region].

Among the factors producing effects on the formation of indexes of morbidity of the people working in Donbass, the main role is played by the ecological situation in the region, working conditions and lifestyle of the working people. On the basis of morbidity indexes analysis proposals and measures aimed at the preservation and improvement of health of the working people are formulated.

[Analysis of the preventive activities of medical units in coal mines].

The study is designed to develop and to test the procedure of expert assessment of prophylactic activity of health care units at shop physician's departments in mines. Volume and quality of preventive work greatly influence workers' morbidity rates, hence the logistic support of the shop physician's service is of primary importance. It is emphasized that in order to improve prophylactic activity it is necessary to use all the available resources for enjoying conventional forms of shop's medical service.
