A study of the response of the leukopenia of rheumatoid arthritis to gold salt therapy.
Five patients with leukopenia and rheumatoid arthritis were treated with sodium aurothiomalate. An improvement in peripheral white blood count, neutrophil count and articular index was noted in all patients.
