[Diffusion chromizing of medical equipment parts made of carbon steels].
Chromizing improves physicochemical and mechanical properties of carbon steels. In some instances, for the treatment of medical pieces made of carbon steels chromizing is advisable rather than electroplating and chemical-conversion plating as well as the use of stainless steels.
