[Metabolic structure of the restitution process following physical loads of a different character].

The result of biochemical and mathematical analysis of restitution processes after various exercises determined the phases of these processes and the interrelationship between metabolic structure of restitution and the character of exercise. Metabolic structure of restitution has some common traits in recovery period after non-fatiguing exercises and exercises causing a rapidly developing fatigue. In contrast, sharp changes of this structure occur after exercises causing a slowly developing exhaustion.

[Interorgan metabolic correlations during muscular activity and fatigue].

Biochemical and mathematical analysis revealed that metabolic processes in muscles, blood, liver, and brain during both unfatiguing muscular activity and in fatigue change their correlative bonds not identealby. The experiments exposed as a common traits, as differences in metabolic structure of both rapidly and slowly developed fatigue.

[Algorhythm for automatic analysis of electrocardiograms in a special apparatus].

An algorhythm for an automatic analysis of the ECG by using a special device is proposed for the purpose of identifying patients suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system. The algorhythm is based on the utilization of simple electrocardiographic indications measured with sufficient accuracy on a real time scale (PQ, QRS, T1 configuration, amplitude of the R, S, T waves). With the algorhythm analysis of the ECG taken in patients with primary rheumatic heart disease, complicated mitral lesion, hypertensive disease, myocardialinfarction the ECG changes helped identify 70 per cent of the patients. The algorhythm proved highly effective in recognizing patients with ischemic heart disease. A correlation between the stages of the affection and the frequency of detected pathological ECG was established. The results of automatic evaluation were contrasted against the data subsequent to an ECG analysis made by the physician, both of these being in good accord.

[Experience with computer utilization in organizing rational nutrition].

A number of algorhythms and programmes in the language "Algol-60" are proposed. On the ground of a balanced assortment of products and a "library of courses" corresponding to it is possible to formulate optimal nutrition rations for a definite designed period of time (1, 2, 3 weeks, etc). From the given rations one may compile a menu for any pre-set number of meals per day, to obtain information on the chemical composition of the ration, its cost, calorific value in weight units, as well as on the amount and kinds of products entering the ration.
