Patient receivables: an opportunity for success, an excuse for failure.
Hospitals are aggressively seeking innovative ways to enhance their overall performance through converting patient accounts receivables to cash. By developing well-defined credit and collection policies and procedures, they can increase recovered dollars in a shorter time frame while reducing the cost associated with this recovery.
