Saw modification for underside die cutting.
A simple modification of a standard laboratory saw and the work bench surface enhances the saw's overall usefulness for sectioning casts. When using these modifications, the operator has a clear view of the preparation margin and the saw blade at all times, thereby permitting accurate, controlled cuts to be made from the underside of a removable pinned die section.
