Coordinating preoperative outpatient testing.
A lack of a centralized system was causing high outpatient cancellation rates and significant delays. As a result, an Operating Room Tracking Committee created scheduling and outpatient coordinator positions to provide a centralized, coordinated approach to preoperative outpatient processing.
