It is reported on three female patients who fell ill with a second and third tumour, respectively, within 4 years. The cases in question were spontaneous neoformations, since risk factors, such as radiotherapy and applications of cytostatics were not used causally.
It is reported on the 4-year course of a disease in a patient with chronic myeloic leukemia in whom after three years an unusual affection of the bones in the distal thigh developed. Apart from this the differential-diagnostic difficulties are discussed: fibrosis of the bone marrow--chronic myeloic leukaemia--Paget's disease metastasis of a squamous cell carcinoma.
