THE IMPURITY OF RADIOIODINATED TRIOLEIN.
Commercially supplied radioiodinated triolein has been shown by thin-layer chromatography and silicic acid column chromatography to contain impurities, consisting mainly of diglycerides and monoglycerides, but also a small amount of free fatty acid. The effect of these impurities on the radioiodinated triolein absorption test requires further investigation.

The pancrease and gastric secretion: failure of pancreatectomy to prevent inhibition of gastric secretion by secretin.
A second commercially prepared secretin has been found to inhibit the acid secreted by Heidenhain pouches in dogs in response to a meal but not to histamine. This inhibition is not affected by pancreatectomy.
