FURTHER OBSERVATIONS ON MIMA POLYMORPHA AND ACHROMOBACTER (BACTERIUM) ANITRATUM.
Further investigations on the morphology, biochemical reactions, and serological relationships of strains of Mima polymorpha and Achromobacter (Bacterium) anitratum are reported. The results seem to indicate such a close relationship that it may yet be necessary to reconsider the nomenclature of these organisms.

Mima polymorpha infection.
Two cases of human infection by Mima polymorpha are described. From these cases, and from the literature, it is concluded that this species is heterogeneous with respect to its biochemical properties. From comparative studies it is concluded that the genus Mima is unrelated to the genus Moraxella or to Bacterium anitratum.
A NEW PASTEURELLA SPECIES (?) FROM A WOUND INFECTION.
A case of appendicitis is described in which the wound was infected with an organism of the genus Pasteurella. The morphological and biochemical properties of the strain are recorded, and comparison is made with other species of the same genus. It is concluded that this strain may be a new species.
RELATIONSHIPS OF COAGULASES AND AGGLUTININS IN VITRO AND IN VIVO TO STAPHYLOCOCCUS PYOGENES.
Relationships are shown between coagulases and certain agglutinogens of staphylococcal serotypes. Animal experiments further show that actively acquired artificial immunity to coagulases also confers protection against challenge with ;coagulase-agglutinogen' related staphylococci, the degree of protection depending upon the route of challenge.
