[Rheumatic fever prevention unit].
The author describes the steps that have been taken recently on the prevention and the magnitude of rheumatic fever in Chile. Likewise, he describes the measures proposed by the Advising Committee on Rheumatic Fever, the evolution this disease has followed and the goals that they expect to reach before the next Pan American Conference on Rheumatic Fever.
