Regional chemotherapy infusion via selective arterial catheterization is frequently complicated by the development of cracks or leaks within the catheter. This frequently necessitates a catheter exchange. Herein, we report an alternative, simpler method for dealing with a defect within an infusion catheter.

An unusual case of bilateral popliteal arteriovenous fistulas is reported. The patient reported right leg discomfort and swelling 1 month after multiple gunshot wounds to both legs; the left leg was asymptomatic. Arteriography demonstrated AV fistulas in both popliteal arteries. The importance of a high index of suspicion in making the diagnosis is emphasized.

Introduction of large bore nephrostomy catheters following percutaneous nephrolithotomy occasionally is difficult owing to buckling of the catheter. We describe an alternative method for insertion of these catheters that relies only on the materials at hand during the percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
A cavernous hemangioma of the liver presented as an area of increased activity on an isotope bone scan. A review of the literature fails to reveal any previous reports of this phenomenon.
An association of neurofibromatosis with diffuse interstitial lung disease is thought to exist, though there have been relatively few large studies of it. The pulmonary manifestations consist of diffuse interstitial fibrosis or formation of bullae, or a combination of both. Our experience with this disease process during a ten-year period shows slightly less than a 7% incidence of diffuse interstitial lung disease in our patients with neurofibromatosis. We include a case of neurofibromatosis and diffuse lung disease that is somewhat unusual in the formation of bullae in the lower lobe, in contradistinction to its marked upper lobe predominance.
Evaluation of graft patency following reconstructive venous surgery may be difficult, especially in patients in whom a distal arteriovenous fistula has been constructed. We describe a method of visualizing these venous bypass grafts using digital subtraction angiography that is easy and provides satisfactory results.

We report a case that demonstrates that percutaneous catheter drainage may be considered as an alternative to surgical intervention in the treatment of urinomas, especially when there is no persistent ureteral obstruction.

A patient with the development of a post-surgical mass in the thigh, at the site of surgery, is described. Lymphoscintigraphy was important in solving the clinical dilemma.
Partial priapism is a rare condition. Unlike the typical cases of priapism where the diagnosis is obvious on physical examination, partial priapism generally is initially seen as a perineal mass, and the diagnosis is more difficult. In our case, computed tomography helped make a differential diagnosis of partial priapism.
