[Isolation of acido-alcohol resistant bacilli from peripheral blood in a case of severe miliary tuberculosis].

The case of a 64 years old woman with a severe miliary tuberculous dissemination is presented. The singularity of this case arises from the fact that it could be demonstrated in blood the presence of acid-alcohol resistant bacilli by means of the Ziehl-Neelsen technic.

[Review of broncho-pulmonary cancer at an internal medicine service].

Forty patients diagnosed by fiberoptic bronchoscopy in a general hospital are reviewed. More than half were epidermoid and 22,5% microcytic, all of them in smokers. The clinical, radiologic and endoscopic findings are reviewed, emphasizing the need for a higher precocity in the diagnosis.
