Urinary dysfunction and urodynamics in the elderly.
As the elderly population continues to grow, it is important to consider some of the normal changes inherent with the aging process, as well as to understand common urologic disorders that may occur in this population. Urodynamic clinicians should be aware of some special considerations when working with this group of individuals. The purpose of this article is to describe common urologic conditions in the elderly and correlate these conditions with typical urodynamic findings.
