[A method for gait analysis--preliminary report].
A preliminary report on new method for gait evaluation is presented. Specifically designed shoes with built-in sensors allow for registration of the data during free gait on normal surface; collected data is than analyzed in PC based system. Twenty-four patients (16 females, 8 males, mean age 58 years) with hip arthritis treated at Orthopedic Department were included in this study.
