Toxoplasmosis of the bladder: case report and review of the literature.

Toxoplasma gondii is an intracellular parasite that is responsible for an asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic lymphadenopathy syndrome, which in the immunocompromised host can be life threatening. Toxoplasmosis commonly affects the central nervous system. Genitourinary involvement is uncommon with reported cases limited to Toxoplasma orchitis and the nephrotic syndrome. To our knowledge we report the first case of toxoplasmosis of the bladder as an intravesical mass without central nervous system or other organ involvement in a young man with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.

Regenerating prostatic nodule at urethrography.

A 1 cm rould filling defect in the prostatic urethra represented a regeneration prostatic nodule following transurethral prostatectomy.

Pelvic lipomatosis: diagnosis using computed tomography.

Pelvic lipomatosis is a rare, benign disease in which the characteristic roentgenographic findings may mimic those of pelvic malignancy. In the past more than two-thirds of reported cases have been explored surgically for diagnosis. We present 2 cases to demonstrate how the definitive diagnosis of pelvic lipomatosis can be made with the aid of computed tomography to avoid invasive techniques.
