Development of a training programme for triage nursing.
This article describes the preparation and development of a training programme to prepare staff for the implementation of triage nursing. It outlines the essential training needs for this complex role and the use of multidisciplinary group work and experiential learning to promote good communication and holistic individualized patient care.
