[Current indications for coral in craniofacial surgery. A 10-year experience].
After a ten year clinical experience of coral implants in Cranio-Facial Surgery, the authors can precise the up to date indications. 55 patients received coral inlays. Two varieties of coral have been used, Goniopora and Polyphylla, demonstrating complementary properties. Filling of bony defects and volumetric increase specially held our attention. Coral may be discussed versus autologous bony grafts in very circumscribed indications.

Modified Benchekroun technique for continent ileal stoma.
The Guzman continent ileal stoma is constructed by a modification of the Benchekroun technique, which is based on the principle of the inkwell and collapse of the inner tube through retrograde filling of the valve. We used this procedure in 7 patients, all of whom are continent. During a followup of 6 months to 2 years no major complications developed. The stoma is easy to construct, has a low risk of evagination because the inner tube is stabilized with sutures and is easy to catheterize. It does not require staples, which reduces the chance of stone or fistula formation. The terminal ileum in continuity with the cecum or an isolated ileal segment can be used.

[Various cases of ossifying fibroma and cranio-maxillofacial fibrous dysplasia].
Rare and of difficult diagnosis, osteofibroma and fibrous dysplasia can occur in different areas of the face and skull. Differential diagnosis is difficult particularly in the isolated forms and need histological confirmation. This will guide their different treatment depending of their nature and localisation. In case of base of skull involvement eyesight must be looked into particularly well.
