[Electrocardiographic changes during coronarography].

The endocardial manipulations and bolus intracoronary administration of contrast substances, of the first generation in particular, can induce disturbances of the myocardium repolarization and different disturbances of the cardiac rhythm, life-threatening included. The aim of the investigation is to assess transitory electrophysiological alterations in the myocardium during coronarography and during the first day after it. Under examination there were 39 patients with ischemic heart disease and stenocardia of the II-III functional classes in whom the coronarography was performed according to clinical indications. The Holtner dynamic observation of ECG was made in all the patients. All the ECG changes were detected and estimated during coronarography: arrhythmias, disturbances of conduction and transitory ischemic alterations of the myocardium. It gives a possibility to decide between the methods of pharmacological correction of possible disturbances.

[The effect of hemosorption and plasmapheresis on fibrinogen-125I kinetics in patients with rheumatoid arthritis].

125I-labelled fibrinogen kinetics has been studied in 73 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Of them, 53 subjects underwent hemosorptions or hemosorptions combined with plasmapheresis. Fibrinogen metabolism in RA patients appeared enhanced versus healthy controls. It was observed that hemosorption treatment or its combination with plasmapheresis produce positive changes in clinical and laboratory RA parameters, improve fibrinogen metabolism. The study of fibrinogen kinetics is useful in assessing efficacy of on-going treatment.

Topography of afferent and efferent flows in the mechanisms of auditory selective attention.

The auditory evoked potentials (AEP) were recorded in 10 healthy subjects under the conditions of simple rhythmic stimulation and in an attention task. The mid- (10-60 msec) and long-latency (up to 400 msec) AEP were analyzed by mapping the evoked potentials and by assessment of their spatial-temporal characteristics. It is hypothesized that the interaction of the parietal and left-sided temporal and frontal divisions exert an efferent influence on the brainstem structures in the 15-35 msec time segment. The amplitude of the P90 and P250 waves is reduced in the attention task. The amplitude of the late component P350 increases mainly in the central and anterior divisions of the brain.

[The topography of the afferent and efferent flows in the mechanisms of auditory selective attention].

Auditory evoked potentials (AEPs) were recorded in 10 adult healthy subjects under conditions of simple rhythmical stimulation and during solving selective attention task. Middle- (10-60 ms) and long-latency (up to 400 ms) AEPs were analysed by AEP mapping and by evaluation of their spatio-temporal characteristics. it is suggested that interaction between the parietal, left temporal and left frontal cortical areas exerts efferent influence to brainstem structures over a period of 15-35 ms. Amplitudes of P90 and P250 components were reduced during selective attention task. The late P350 component increases, mainly, in the central and frontal cortical areas.
