New topical treatments in the management of atopic eczema.
Atopic eczema is a common condition that is not caused by any single factor. The nurse has an important role in educating patients about the condition, teaching them how to control their symptoms and providing follow-up support for treatment. Nurses in both primary and secondary care are also likely to be responsible for counselling patients and their families.
