Hydatid cyst of psoas muscle is scare, we report one case which had a non specific ultrasonography appearance. Before surgery it was thought to be a retroperitoneal inflammatory collection.
We report the cases of 4 patients with renal pelvis tumor associated with renal calculi. Sonography was correlated with gross pathology in three cases. The pre operative diagnostic can be made by sonography. The carcinogenic role of the lithiasis and infection is quite possible.

Echotomographic and serologic screening for hydatidosis was carried out in 1,650 subjects aged over 5 years in a village located in a high risk region of central Tunisia. Echotomography detected liver cysts in 6 subjects (prevalence rate: 3.6 per 1,000). These 6 cases were among the 7 positive cases detected by ELISA. In all 6, the diagnosis of liver cysts was confirmed. No other localization was found in any of the subjects including one with a positive ELISA and a normal echotomographic examination. This work demonstrates the high feasibility of echotomography in the field and confirms the high prevalence rate of hydatidosis in the community.
Hydatidosis is very common in the Sahel and Central Tunisia. The 1984 annual surgical incidence rate of hydatid disease is 21.89 per one hundred thousand. Prevalence rates vary from 0.36 to 1.3%. Animal infestation is also common.

A case of a neonate with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome is presented. Antenatal sonography detected a right adrenal cystic mass confirmed in post-natal which resolved spontaneously within 1 month. The child developed an adrenal adenoma detected by abdominal sonography at six months of surveillance. The authors review the different adrenal lesions possibly associated with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome and specially the pseudo-tumorous lesions. The value of abdominal sonography in the neonatal periods and in the surveillance of children with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome is emphasized.
